Kazakh mixed martial arts master Asu Almabaev received a financial bonus of $100,000 for his brilliant victory at the UFC Fight Night 280 tournament, reports Todayinfo news portal.

The UFC organization awarded the best-performing athletes after the tournament held in Baku, Azerbaijan. Almabaev's impressive victory in the fight against American Charles Johnson was deemed worthy of the "Performance of the Night" category.

The Kazakh fighter forced his opponent to submit via a chokehold in the third round of the bout, securing his 24th career victory.

The same $100,000 bonus was also awarded to Azerbaijani Rafael Fiziev, Turkish Abdul-Rahman Yahyaev, and Ukrainian Danyil Donchenko.

Additionally, the UFC granted additional bonuses of $25,000 to several fighters who achieved early victories. These awards went to Azerbaijani representative Tagir Abdullaev, Australian Kaan Ofli, Uzbekistani Nursultan Ruziboev, Brazilian Mateus Camilo, and Abusupyan Magomedov, who competes under the German flag.
