Today, the renovated railway stations in the Zhanakorgan and Shieli districts of Kyzylorda region were officially put into operation, reports Todayinfo news agency.
The Zhanakorgan station was renovated for over 1 billion tenge and is designed to serve 121 passengers per day, while the Shieli station, covering 9,474 square meters, cost over 836 million tenge and has become a modern facility capable of receiving 200 passengers daily. Both stations have updated facades and foundations, replaced roofs, doors and windows, modernized engineering networks and heating systems, and improved platform areas.
At the ceremony, regional governor Murat Yergeshbayev noted that the renovated stations will provide comfortable and safe conditions for residents and passengers, and will boost the development of the region's transport infrastructure.
