The prestigious awards and housing keys were presented by the region's akim, Marat Sultangaziyev, who congratulated media representatives on their professional holiday. At the ceremony, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Alatau Araiy" Kuanysh Tungatar and the coordinator of publishing activities of LLP "Olke Tynysy" Zhanat Tokanova received the happiness of their own home.
Also, veteran journalist and advisor to the head of LLP "Olke Tynysy" Kadirbek Kunypiyauley was awarded the "Parasat" order, correspondent of the newspaper "Enbekshikazak" Igor Turanin received the "Yeren enbegi ushin" medal, and executive secretary of the newspaper "Alatau Araiy" Sholpan Nurzhauova was awarded the "Shapagat" medal. A number of media professionals were awarded the titles "Veteran of Labor", "Excellent Worker of the Information Sphere", Certificates of Honor, and Letters of Appreciation.

The head of the region announced another pleasant news for the journalistic community. According to him, starting this year, the category "Mass Media" has been added to the regional mortgage program "Alatau". Now journalists working in the Almaty region can participate in this program. In addition, to stimulate the best representatives of the media sphere, the "Samgau" media award is held annually in the region. This year, the winners of "Samgau" will also be awarded at the end of the year. Priority will be given to the best articles, TV stories, and videos on the themes "Taza Kazakhstan" and "Law and Order". Journalists actively involved in promoting the socio-economic development of the region will also not be overlooked.
