A universal rescue unit has been launched on the coast of Lake Alakol in the Abai region. This was reported by a correspondent.

The main feature of the new unit, located near the village of Kabanbay, is the introduction of advanced monitoring systems. Now safety in recreation areas is controlled by artificial intelligence. The headquarters presented a video surveillance project that automatically recognizes dangerous situations on the water. For rapid response, rescuers received modern boats and jet skis.

Akim of the Abai region Berik Uali: "Last year, more than 100 thousand people, including foreigners, vacationed here. Such a scale requires special control. The opened unit is equipped with the necessary equipment, and a special capsule module has been launched for rapid deployment of forces," he said.

In addition to launching the technology hub, the fleet of district rescuers was replenished with seven new special vehicles. The coastal infrastructure was also strengthened with 17 towers, where trained instructors are on duty. In the village of Kabanbay, construction of a fire depot has begun – funds from the republican budget have been allocated to complete the facility.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations noted that the development of safety on Lake Alakol is carried out within the framework of the "Aul Kutkaushylary" program. By the end of the year, it is planned to open 12 more fire stations in the region.
