The III Republican Forum on "Patriotism and Love for the Motherland – the Duty of Every Commander" was held in Almaty, reports Todayinfo. Representatives of security agencies, military departments, public organizations, and media participated in the event, organized by the "Analar Zhuregi" (Mothers' Hearts) committee of soldiers' mothers.
The forum commenced with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Eternal Flame in the Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen. Participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the fallen heroes.
Major General Askar Mustabekov, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Educational and Ideological Work, participated in the public dialogue. He noted that such meetings contribute to the exchange of experience between state bodies and public organizations, the formation of new mechanisms of interaction, and the further development of military-patriotic education.
Major General Sakentai Shekarbekov, Commander of the "Ontustik" Regional Command of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan, also attended the event. He emphasized the importance of such meetings in strengthening mutual trust between military units and parents, enhancing the prestige of military service, and fostering patriotic upbringing among youth.
The Commander of the Regional Command also elaborated on the ongoing efforts to create favorable conditions for servicemen in the National Guard. According to him, the construction of military towns in Almaty and Turkistan cities has begun on the initiative of Lieutenant General Ansagan Baltabekov, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard. Additionally, the construction of new barracks for battalions of military unit 5571 in Almaty and military unit 5547 in Kyzylorda is nearing completion.
During the forum, outstanding officers were honored for their contribution to the welfare of soldiers and for fostering a positive moral and psychological atmosphere among personnel. Senior Lieutenant Myrzadil Kanatuly, Deputy Company Commander of military unit 5571 of the National Guard, Senior Lieutenant Samgar Kopzhasar, Commander of the Rifle Company of military unit 3660, and Lieutenant Colonel Nursultan Tolegen, Deputy Commander of military unit 5514 for Educational and Socio-Legal Work, received letters of appreciation.
Furthermore, as part of the forum, private Ansar Sagibekov (military unit 5571), private Yerbosyn Nurmukhamet (military unit 3660), and private Madiyar Dosboluly (military unit 5514) of the National Guard reunited with their mothers on stage and received vouchers for a 10-day leave. This was a special surprise for the soldiers.
