Scott Anthony Munn, an Australian specialist with experience in the English Premier League, has been appointed as the new General Secretary of the Kazakhstan Football Federation (KFF), reports Todayinfo.

On April 27, 2026, the KFF Executive Committee approved the appointment of Scott Anthony Munn as General Secretary for a term until July 12, 2030. He is expected to assume his new role on July 13, 2026.

Munn's career highlights include serving as Director of Football for Tottenham Hotspur from 2023 to 2025, during which time the club won the Europa League, its first European trophy in 40 years. Previously, he was CEO of City Football Group in China and Chairman of the Board of Sichuan Jiuniu FC.

“The Kazakhstan Football Federation is at a defining stage of development: we are building the foundation that will determine the future of football in our country. Achieving high results requires people with experience and discipline. Scott Munn brings invaluable practical experience that will directly work for the development of Kazakh football,” said KFF President Marat Omarov.

Munn's tasks include reforming refereeing, developing academies and infrastructure, raising standards of club management and licensing, building a sustainable commercial and media base, and deepening cooperation with UEFA and FIFA.
