The World Cup stage under the auspices of the World Boxing federation has concluded in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. Kazakhstani boxers competed for three championship titles in the final program, reports Todayinfo.

In the weight category over 80 kg, Valeriya Aksenova confidently defeated Hungarian athlete Zsofia Sira with a score of 5:0. In the up to 85 kg category, Sultanbek Aibaruuly prevailed over the host boxer Kaue Belini with a score of 4:1. Aida Abikeeva (up to 65 kg) lost in the final to Uzbek athlete Navbakhor Khamidova with a score of 0:5.

In the daytime session, Viktoriya Grafeeva (up to 60 kg) defeated Brazilian Rebecca Santos, bringing another gold medal. As a result, the Kazakh team has three gold, one silver, and three bronze medals. Bronze medalists: Alua Balkibekova (up to 51 kg), Zhibek Zharaskyzy (up to 80 kg), and Dias Molzhigitov (up to 80 kg).

In the overall medal standings, Kazakhstan took third place. The tournament winner is the Brazilian team (4 gold, 5 silver), and the Chinese team is in second place (4 gold, 1 bronze).
