A new head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Karaganda region has been appointed. Nurken Nuratov has been appointed to this position, reports Todayinfo citing the regional akimat.
Nurken Nuratov graduated from the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism with a degree in Physical Culture and Sports, and also holds a Master's degree in Pedagogical Sciences in the same field.
He began his career in 2007. Over the years, he has worked as a judo coach, a coach-teacher at a branch of the sports committee of the Central Sports Club, a shooting coach at Children's and Youth Sports School No. 9, and a handball club coach for the Department of Tourism, Physical Culture and Sports of Astana.
Later, he served as deputy director of the professional football club Zhetysu-Sunkar under the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Almaty region. He also held positions as director of the Kapshagai regional children's and youth sports school and head of the regional school of higher sports mastery under the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Almaty region.
Prior to this appointment, he headed the Center for Training Olympic Reserves of the Almaty region.
