Plant producing camel milk powder launched in Kyzylorda region

Today, the head of the region Murat Yergeshbayev, regional prosecutor Rizabek Ozharov, representatives of the intelligentsia and elders attended the opening ceremony of a plant producing dry powder from camel milk in Aral city, reports Todayinfo news agency.

At the ceremony, the regional governor noted that this initiative will positively impact the region's industrial capacity and socio-economic development.

“I congratulate everyone on the official opening of one of the important projects for our region – the camel milk powder plant! This will give a new impetus to the development of the region's economy, increase the country's export potential, and create new jobs. The Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said: ‘New investments should be primarily aimed at forming modern industry in the country.’ In this regard, large investment projects are being successfully implemented in our region. One of them is the camel milk powder plant of ‘Kazak Camel’ company, built for 3 billion tenge. In general, there are enterprises processing camel milk in the country, but there are very few plants producing dry powder on an industrial scale. Therefore, this is a unique and important initiative,” said Murat Nalkozhauly.

The plant, which will produce about 400 tons of products per year, will provide permanent employment for 23 people. To turn camel milk into dry powder, 20 thousand liters of milk per day are required. This will be beneficial for local residents: they will be able to sell camel milk daily and earn a stable income. To increase demand for local products, a contract has been signed for export to the Chinese market for the next 10 years. As part of state support, a land plot of 1 hectare was allocated in the industrial zone. Also, through the ‘Industrial Development Fund’, financing of 1.8 billion tenge was provided for the purchase of necessary technological equipment from China.

At the ceremony, regional prosecutor Rizabek Ozharov, elders Aitbay Kosherbay and Adilbek Ayimbetov spoke. Citizens who contributed to the socio-economic development of the district and assisted in launching the plant were awarded Letters of Appreciation from the regional governor.

To diversify the region's economy, it is planned to implement 48 investment projects worth 1 trillion 900 billion tenge over the next three years, creating more than 10 thousand new jobs. This year, 21 projects worth 100 billion tenge are planned to be launched.
