President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory message to the residents of Raiymbek district on the occasion of its 90th anniversary, reports Todayinfo. The message was delivered by Presidential Advisor Malik Otarbayev at the opening ceremony of the international ethno-festival "Khan Tengri Treasure" at the Shalkode summer pasture.
In his address, the President noted that many prominent figures who faithfully served the country's interests came from this region. "Raiymbek is a region with deep history, harmony and prosperity. Many outstanding personalities emerged from this noble land and served the nation selflessly. Berdibek Sokpakbayev, Mukagali Makataev and other notable writers created high works that instilled patriotism, education and diligence in the younger generation," the message reads.
The Head of State also highly appreciated the work of the district's residents in agriculture, tourism and other sectors, highlighting their support for important national initiatives and unity. "The active participation of district residents in the national referendum and support for the new Constitution is clear evidence of this," he said.
The President expressed gratitude to all citizens contributing to the region's development and wished the residents well-being, success and prosperity. The events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Raiymbek district lasted three days, including scientific conferences, a national aitys and concert programs. The anniversary concluded with the international ethno-festival "Khan Tengri Treasure" at the Shalkode summer pasture.
