Producer Bayang Alagozova has once again commented on the famous camisole from the film 'Kyz Zhibek', reports Todayinfo news agency.
According to the artist, this widely discussed camisole was given to her as a gift. However, its future fate will depend on the decision of society and relevant state bodies.
“Now this item is with me. Over time, I will hand it over to a museum. But for now, I keep it and will use it when needed. I feel connected to this work and the image created by Meruert Utekeshova,” she said.
The producer also expressed gratitude to the famous actress, calling her a unique figure in Kazakh art. According to her, Meruert Utekeshova is an eternal symbol of the Kazakh girl.
Bayang Alagozova also mentioned plans to invite the actress to the 'Kazakh Aruy' project next year. Additionally, she stated her readiness to provide lifelong monthly financial support of 1 million tenge to the artist.
The producer explained why she decided to announce this initiative publicly. According to her, many talented artists are forgotten over time. In this regard, she called on philanthropists to support individuals who have contributed to national culture.
It is worth noting that earlier Bayang Alagozova showed the legendary camisole on Instagram and reported that it was given to her as a gift. This pink camisole was worn by Meruert Utekeshova, who played the lead role in the film 'Kyz Zhibek'.
