Fifty volunteers from the East Kazakhstan region cleaned the shore of Lake Dubygala (Okunki), one of the most popular recreational spots in the area, from trash. The environmental event was organized in the Ulan district under the "Clean Kazakhstan" concept, reports Todayinfo.kz.
Young people actively participated in the campaign, demonstrating through their actions the importance of protecting the nature of their native land and keeping the environment clean.

– Today, on the shore of Lake Dubygala in the Tavria rural district, we are holding the "Clean Shore" campaign under the "Clean Kazakhstan" concept. Members of the "Zhasyl el" youth labor squad from our district are fully participating. A total of 50 young people have gathered. The main goal of the event is to shape the ecological culture of youth and foster a caring attitude towards nature, – said Bauyrzhan Bigaliev, director of the Ulan District Youth Resource Center.
According to him, another important goal of the campaign is to draw the attention of vacationers and tourists to cherishing nature. Every person should leave their resting place clean and avoid discarding plastic, glass, and other household waste into the environment.

– I am a student at the Sarsen Amanzholov Higher College. We actively participate in the "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign. Today we are cleaning the shore of Lake Dubygala. I urge all young people not to pollute nature, not to leave trash behind, and to cherish their native land, – said campaign participant Oksana Tarasova.
According to the student, taking concrete action and setting an example for others is much more important than just talking about protecting nature. Such good initiatives increase responsibility towards the environment and contribute to shaping ecological culture.
