In Kokshetau, rescuers evacuated 25 passengers from a ferry that broke down in the waters of Lake Kopa, reports Todayinfo.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), the incident occurred on May 17. During a patrol of Lake Kopa's waters in Kokshetau, rescuers discovered a faulty ferry with passengers on board, located 700 meters from the shore.
"MES rescuers evacuated 25 people from the faulty ferry," the statement said.
Among those evacuated were 10 children. None of the rescued individuals required medical assistance.
