During monitoring at the largest wholesale market in Almaty, Barys-4, several intermediaries were identified, reports Todayinfo citing the Ministry of Trade and Integration.
Employees of the city department of trade and consumer protection inspected wholesale sellers at the market. As a result, 9 intermediaries were identified. In addition, entrepreneurs are undergoing inspection by the department of state revenues.
"Special attention was paid to ensuring that the trade markup on socially significant food products does not exceed 15%, and that goods are sold with price tags indicating the actual price," the ministry's statement said.
