Akim of Almaty Region Marat Sultangaziyev met with municipal workers as part of the 'Taza Kazakhstan' environmental campaign, reports Todayinfo.
At a beach in Konayev city, the akim collected garbage together with workers and later talked over breakfast. Municipal workers openly shared their problems and suggestions.
The akim listened to their opinions on working conditions and residents' cleanliness culture. The discussion also covered regional development, street cleanliness, family, and child upbringing.
“The cleanliness and comfort of the region are the result of your daily responsible work. The 'Taza Kazakhstan' concept is one of the key principles enshrined in our Constitution. Keeping the environment and our native land clean is our common duty. I express my sincere gratitude for your work,” said the regional akim.
At the end, municipal workers received memorable gifts, and the akim thanked them. In Almaty Region, the 'Taza Beisenbi' campaign is held weekly, involving residents, business representatives, and government employees. Such meetings aim to raise the status of workers and strengthen dialogue between authorities and the public.
