A horrifying incident occurred in one of the private houses in Shymkent. A one-year-old girl fell into a well 24 meters deep, reports Azattyq Rýhy citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Details of the incident
The incident took place on the territory of a private house on Kudaibergenov Street in the Karatau district of Shymkent. Residents who called the "112" dispatch center reported that a girl born in 2024 accidentally fell into the well.
Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations who arrived at the scene determined that the well was approximately 24 meters deep. This is roughly equivalent to the height of an 8-story building.
Using special climbing equipment, the rescuers descended to the bottom of the well. Despite the difficult conditions, they retrieved the child. The girl was immediately handed over to an ambulance team. Currently, doctors are examining the child's health condition.
