Almaty has changed the routes of two important bus lines, reports Todayinfo. According to the city administration, these changes were implemented to create comfortable conditions for passengers and improve public transport services.
Adjustments have been made to the schedules of bus routes No. 12 and No. 34. Route No. 12 was extended to reach newly developing areas of the city, while some stops on route No. 34 were optimized.
Representatives of the City Passenger Transport Department noted that these measures will help effectively manage passenger flow and reduce traffic congestion. The new schedule comes into effect on May 15, 2026.
"We are constantly improving the public transport system, taking into account the suggestions of city residents. These changes are aimed at improving transport links with the city's outlying areas," said the head of the department.
Passengers can obtain full information about the new routes and schedules on the city's transport portal or on information boards at bus stops.
