Earthquake occurred near Almaty

Seismologists recorded an earthquake on the border of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, reports Todayinfo.kz. According to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan, tremors of magnitude 3.3 occurred on April 22 at 04:26 Astana time.

According to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan, tremors of magnitude 3.3 were recorded on April 22 at 04:26 Astana time. According to the map, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 57 km southeast of Almaty. As it turned out, the earthquake was not felt in populated areas of Kyrgyzstan. There is no information about it being felt on the territory of Kazakhstan. Recall that on April 16, Kazakh seismologists recorded an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
