In Almaty, at a bus stop in Bostandyk district, a man brutally beat and kicked a pensioner, reports Todayinfo.kz news agency. His brutal actions were captured by a surveillance camera. As seen in the video, an elderly woman placed her bags on a bench at the bus stop and was waiting for a bus. At that moment, a young man standing nearby, taking advantage of the absence of people, suddenly attacked the woman. He knocked the pensioner to the ground and began beating her. There was no verbal argument or conflict between the victim and the attacker. The victim's daughter asked the public for help via social media and published the video.

"Today, an unknown guy attacked my 66-year-old mother. Now my mother's condition is serious, she is suffering greatly. This person should not go unpunished, help spread the video. What happened to my mother today can happen to anyone," she wrote.

According to local residents, the suspect is often seen in the area. Some citizens suggested that he may have a mental illness. According to social media, the 26-year-old suspect had previously committed murder and been in prison. The police noted that a case has been opened under the article "hooliganism".
