A video has appeared on social media showing a drone crash near the village of Alimbet in the Aktobe region, reports Todayinfo news agency.
The object fell in the morning away from a dirt road but not within the settlement. The footage shows the ground plowed over a distance of approximately 150-200 meters at the crash site, with thick smoke visible near the stopping point.
The regional police department's press service stated they are conducting investigative measures together with authorized agencies. Earlier, it was reported that drones falling in Kazakhstan may be accidental or training models posing no threat.
