In the Zhitikara district of Kostanay region, a clinic building has undergone major repairs using billions of tenge returned to the state budget from oligarchs, reports Todayinfo news agency.
According to the regional prosecutor's office, 972 million tenge was spent on the renovation. These funds were returned to the state budget as a result of the General Prosecutor's Office's asset recovery efforts.
Currently, procedures are underway to transfer the building to the balance of the Zhitikara District Hospital. The clinic will start operating after the full transfer of the facility.
“As a result of the reconstruction, the material and technical base of the medical institution has been significantly updated, conditions for providing medical care have been improved, and modern and safe conditions have been created for patients and medical staff,” the prosecutor's office said.
