An employee of the "Zhambyl su" state communal enterprise died after sustaining injuries at work in Taraz, reports Todayinfo. The press service of the regional police department confirmed this information.
According to preliminary data, the incident occurred at a construction site. The driver of a MAZ truck ran over a 58-year-old man.
As a result, the victim sustained severe injuries and died in the hospital's intensive care unit. The police have initiated a pre-trial investigation under Part 3 of Article 345 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Violation of traffic rules, negligently causing death).
The investigation is ongoing.
