Debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle was found near the village of Alimbet in the Aktobe region, reports the Todayinfo.kz news agency.
According to local residents, the object fell into the field at approximately 08:30 AM.
Witnesses say they heard a falling sound, followed by an explosion.
The incident appears to have been captured on video.
Fragments of the device were found about 2.5 kilometers from the settlement.
The Aktobe Regional Police Department confirmed the discovery of the object and announced that an investigation has been launched.
The said object was found outside the settlement. All circumstances of the incident are currently being determined, the department noted.
Authorized services are working at the scene. They are determining where the unmanned vehicle came from and the causes of its crash.
