A gas-air mixture explosion occurred at a dairy plant in the village of Zhibek Zholy, Arshaly district, reports Todayinfo news agency.
According to preliminary information from social media, the incident happened in the plant's warehouse due to a gas leak from an underground tank. No fire followed the explosion.
Two employees suffered thermal burns to their hands, legs, and face. Both were taken to a hospital in Astana.
