The Polish tennis player overcame her opponent in straight sets with a score of 6:4, 6:1. The match lasted one hour and twenty minutes.
McNally is currently ranked 63rd in the world. This victory marks Świątek's first win at the Rome tournament this season.
In the next round, Świątek will face the winner of the match between Yulia Putintseva and Anhelina Kalinina.
