The prosecutor's office of the West Kazakhstan region canceled the decision to deport a citizen who has been living in Kazakhstan for a long time, reports Todayinfo news agency.

The man had previously been held administratively liable for violating migration legislation and was subject to deportation by court order. However, he disagreed with this decision and appealed to the prosecutor's office.

During the inspection, it was established that he has the status of "kandas", has been living in Uralsk since 2011, is married to a citizen of Kazakhstan, and is raising a minor son. Taking these circumstances into account, the regional prosecutor's office filed an appeal to cancel the first-instance court ruling and terminate the proceedings, — the statement said.

The appellate panel of the regional court supported the prosecutor's office's position and canceled the court ruling. The man was released from administrative liability.
