In Almaty, a cyclist hit a retired woman near one of the shopping centers and fled the scene, reports Todayinfo.kz.
The incident occurred on June 1. According to witnesses, passers-by provided first aid to the injured woman at the scene.
The Almaty City Police Department reported that the Medeu District Police Department is conducting an investigation into the fact that a cyclist hit a pedestrian.
"Currently, measures are being taken to identify and apprehend the person who fled the scene. A complex of operational-search activities is being carried out," – the police stated.
Representatives of the department noted that the actions of the offender will be given a legal assessment in accordance with the legislation of Kazakhstan.
