The 2025/2026 academic year has concluded in Kazakhstan. This year, over 3.9 million students across the country are saying goodbye to school. More than 31,000 of them have completed the 9th grade with honors, and nearly 18,000 11th-grade graduates are candidates for the 'Altyn Belgi' (Golden Badge) award, reports Todayinfo.kz.
On May 25, a unified class hour on the theme "My Knowledge – To My Homeland!" will be held in all schools of the republic. During the gathering, students' achievements will be reviewed, and the academic year will be summarized. Additionally, the core values of the "Adal Azamat" (Honest Citizen) educational program will be discussed.
In accordance with a joint order from the Ministry of Education and local executive bodies, celebrating graduation parties in restaurants, cafes, recreation centers, and in nature is prohibited.
"Collecting money, demanding gifts, or other material valuables from parents, legal representatives, and students for school graduation parties is not allowed. The ceremonies for handing out certificates and diplomas will only take place within the buildings of educational institutions," emphasized official representatives of the ministry.
