Rescuers helped Swiss travelers involved in a road accident in Mangystau to exit their vehicle and brought them to a safe location, reports Todayinfo.
The incident occurred on the Beineu – Aktau highway. A camper van carrying tourists from Switzerland overturned on its side. Specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) promptly arrived to assist the foreign guests.
The camper van with foreign license plates suddenly overturned on one of the main roads in the Mangystau region. Two Swiss citizens were inside the vehicle.
Immediately after receiving the report of the incident, rescuers from the regional Department of Emergency Situations swiftly arrived at the designated location. Specialists immediately checked the vehicle for fire hazards or fuel leaks.
"Rescuers escorted the guests to the nearest village of Beineu and accommodated them in a hotel," the official statement said.
The foreign tourists did not require medical assistance. Currently, they are in a safe place, and work is underway to remove the vehicle from the road and determine the cause of the incident.
