Specifically, in the Kyzylorda region, a scheme to sell a newborn baby was uncovered. Police found that a 25-year-old woman lived in a specialized public foundation before and after giving birth. When she decided to abandon the child, the foundation head offered to sell the baby to a 50-year-old woman for one million tenge for further adoption. All three are now in a temporary detention facility, said Kuandyk Alpys, a representative of the Organized Crime Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The main organizers have been detained.

In the Zhetysu region, a case of forced labor involving two residents born in 2005 and 2007 was stopped.
