A prestigious international robotics championship, the UK First Lego League Championship, organized by the Institution of Engineering and Technology, was held in Harrogate, UK.

Schoolchildren from Astana, who were part of the Kazakhstan national team, achieved outstanding results and won two main awards. The team secured 1st place in the robot game category and was recognized as the best team of the championship.

The competition featured 68 teams from the UK, Brazil, France, Germany, Slovakia, and other countries. The team earned the right to compete on the international stage after a successful performance at the Central Asia First Championship tournament held in Astana.

In addition to the robot game, participants presented the project artifacts.kz - an online database of archaeological artifacts from Kazakhstan. As part of the project, the schoolchildren demonstrated a full cycle of work, from idea and research to technical development and collaboration with specialized institutions. The project received high praise not only for its technological level but also for its contribution to preserving national cultural heritage.
