A large-scale infrastructure project will be implemented at Kolsay Lakes, one of Kazakhstan's most picturesque tourist destinations, reports Todayinfo. In the near future, a cable car connecting Lower and Middle Kolsay Lakes will be built.
This was announced by Ruslan Imanbayev, Head of the Ecological Education and Tourism Department of the "Kolsay Kolderi" State National Nature Park, during a press tour dedicated to the results of the international ecological action "Parade of Parks."
According to him, 19 long-term and 6 short-term land plots have been allocated for tourism development within the national park. Investors will construct visitor centers, eco-hotels, glamping sites, public catering facilities, and the cable car connecting the two Kolsay Lakes.
This project aims to open new opportunities for tourists and enhance the region's tourist appeal. Additionally, a new pedestrian path will be built at Kaindy Lake, along with observation decks, recreation areas, and modern infrastructure facilities.
In recent years, the number of visitors to Kolsay and Kaindy has been steadily increasing. Therefore, the new projects will improve the quality of tourist services and create comfortable conditions for guests visiting these natural sites.
