The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) of the UAE announced the full resumption of normal air traffic in the country's airspace and the cancellation of temporary precautionary measures, reports Todayinfo.
This decision was made after a comprehensive assessment of operational and safety conditions, and in coordination with relevant authorities. The GCAA emphasized that continuous real-time monitoring remains in place to ensure the highest level of aviation safety.
The authority confirmed the readiness of its technical and operational teams to respond to any emerging situations.
Previously, it was reported that due to the shutdown of Dubai Airport – the largest transit hub – the emirate's economy was losing $1 million per minute, with daily losses amounting to hundreds of millions of dollars.
This sum includes losses incurred by Emirates, transit carriers, hotels, shops, and transport infrastructure.
