"Burned Alive": Woman's Body Found in Horrific Condition in Aksu

According to reports, the body was found several kilometers from a ferroalloy plant in the region. It is also reported that the woman may have been raped before death, and the body was attempted to be burned. The Pavlodar region police department commented on the incident.

"A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the murder of a woman in the city of Aksu. The police detained the suspect and placed him in a temporary detention facility. Necessary investigative measures are being carried out to establish all the circumstances of the incident," the regional police department said in a statement.
