Following negotiations between official delegations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Mongolia, a number of bilateral documents were signed aimed at developing cooperation in various fields.
In particular, the parties signed a Memorandum on further development of interaction between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
A Memorandum of Understanding on intensifying trade and economic cooperation between the two countries was also signed.
In the field of peaceful use of atomic energy, agreements were reached between the Atomic Energy Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of Mongolia.
Special attention was paid to the financial sector — a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Finance of Mongolia.
In the oil sector, agreements were formalized between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the relevant Mongolian agency.
In addition, a Plan of Events in the field of cultural and humanitarian cooperation for 2026–2027 was approved.
In the banking sector, a memorandum was signed between the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Bank of Mongolia.
A cooperation document was also signed by Samruk-Kazyna JSC and Erdenes Mongol LLC.
Within the framework of interregional cooperation, memorandums were signed between the Akimat of Astana and the administration of Kharkhorum, as well as between the Akimat of Alatau and the administration of Kharkhorum under the "New Kharkhorum" project.
The parties also agreed on cooperation in the media sphere — a corresponding memorandum was concluded between the Television and Radio Complex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Public Radio and Television of Mongolia.
In the scientific field, documents were signed between the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Academy of Sciences of Mongolia.
In addition, a cooperation agreement was signed by the Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology and the National Museum "Chinggis Khan".
