Fugitive Serikzhan Bilash insulted the late Mukhtar Shakhanov

Serikzhan Bilash showed tactlessness regarding the tragic event that shook the entire Kazakh people and caused public anger. In a video posted on social media, he made offensive remarks against the outstanding Kazakh poet, writer, playwright and public figure Mukhtar Shakhanov, who was laid to rest only yesterday, reports the news agency Todayinfo.kz.

"So what if he died, did the world collapse, did the Earth stop, did the sun rise in the west, what happened?! Some worthless poet died. He held a pen, gnawed paper, wrote a few lines of poetry — an artificially created personality," — insulted the writer Serikzhan Bilash.

The leader of the "Atazhurt" organization, who is in the USA, said: "What can I say, damn it, a very shameless, unscrupulous, two-faced slanderer has passed away, that's it, I have nothing more to say," — thus defaming the outstanding Kazakh poet. The video of Serikzhan Bilash, which caused public anger, is being discussed on social media and criticized by users. Network users leave comments: "What a disgusting thing", "Bilash's act is a disgrace to humanity and conscience", "Shame, disgrace", "Serikzhan has turned from talker into filth", "We need to put Seka in his place", "Is there a kind person who can turn off his internet" and others. According to social media users, Serikzhan Bilash is not even worthy of the deceased outstanding poet, so there is no point in comparing them. Angered by the provocative act, the people note that the unyielding character and high spirit of Mukhtar Shakhanov, his devotion to national interests will never be forgotten, and advise Serikzhan Bilash not to cross the country's border. Let us remind you that on April 19, at the age of 84, the poet, playwright, public figure, People's Writer of Kazakhstan, Hero of Labor Mukhtar Shakhanov passed away. The outstanding personality will be buried on April 22 in the Otyrar district of Turkistan region.
