The body of 29-year-old Yevgeny Engel, who went missing on April 21 in Borovskoye village, Kostanay region, has been found. In addition to police officers and rescuers, local volunteers and villagers actively participated in the search for the young man. He had a mobile phone with him, but the device was completely turned off.
The three-day search ended tragically on the evening of April 24. At around 19:30, divers recovered the man's body from under the water.
According to law enforcement agencies, a forensic medical examination has been ordered to determine the exact cause of death. In the interests of the investigation, other details of the pre-trial inquiry are not subject to disclosure.
