Former singer Rakhat Turlykhanov, repeatedly brought to police for assaulting his wife, has again avoided punishment. His spouse withdrew her complaint, reports Todayinfo.kz. Police reported that a criminal case was opened against Turlykhanov. During the pre-trial investigation, all circumstances of the incident were thoroughly examined, necessary materials were collected, and procedural actions were carried out. However, the complainant withdrew her complaint and further participation in the investigation. Consequently, the criminal case was terminated on legal grounds. Police noted that in each case of domestic conflicts, appropriate measures are taken to protect the rights and safety of citizens. Recall that on March 15, information appeared in the media about the detention of Kazakh singer Rakhat Turlykhanov. The Almaty Police Department reported that the singer was brought to the police on suspicion of assaulting his wife. According to the department, during the check, the woman initially stated that force was used against her, but later denied the fact of assault and wrote a statement about a family conflict. Based on the review, an administrative protocol was drawn up against Rakhat Turlykhanov under Part 1 of Article 73 of the Code of Administrative Offenses ("Unlawful acts in the sphere of family and domestic relations"). On March 16, the court considered the case of Rakhat Turlykhanov. As a result, the court terminated the proceedings and issued a ruling to send the case to the prosecutor's office and the police department to check for signs of a criminal offense, taking into account the initial statement of the spouse.
