The prestigious international robotics championship UK First Lego League Championship, organized by the Institution of Engineering and Technology, was held in Harrogate, United Kingdom.

Students from Astana, part of the Kazakhstan national team, achieved outstanding results in the competition, winning two main awards at once. They secured 1st place in the robot game and were named the best team of the competition.

The championship featured 68 teams from countries including the United Kingdom, Brazil, France, Germany, and Slovakia. The team earned their spot in this championship through a successful performance at the Central Asia First Championship tournament held in Astana.

In addition to the robot game, participants presented an online database of archaeological artifacts in Kazakhstan called "artifacts.kz". Within the project, students demonstrated the entire process from idea to research, technical development, and liaison with specialized institutes. The project was highly praised not only for its technological level but also for its contribution to preserving national cultural heritage.
