"A stranger came up to us and offered a drink. We politely asked him to leave us alone. Then we left, but he followed us and started talking about intimate things. He was drunk. We got scared, and he noticed our fear. I said I would call adults, but he ignored me. I asked him several times to leave, but he continued his indecent behavior, talking and even grabbing my friend's hand, saying various obscene words. I hope the police will take action on this matter," says one of the teenage girls.
The Police Department of Abai Region stated that an investigation is being conducted regarding the video. The girls did not file a police report, but the authors of the video — a 17-year-old girl and her friend — were identified and confirmed the indecent actions of the drunk man.
"This incident has been registered at the Auezov police station. The man's identity has been established. Measures will be taken against him in accordance with the law," the police statement said.
