Elderly woman falls into open sewer pit in Shymkent

In Shymkent, a 65-year-old pensioner fell into an open sewer pit and survived. The incident occurred on April 23 in the courtyard of a multi-story building on Altyn Besik Street. A woman born in 1959 accidentally fell into an open septic tank.

Emergency services specialists promptly arrived at the scene upon call and used special rescue equipment to extract the victim. Thanks to the skill and speed of the rescuers, the pensioner was not in danger. After being pulled out of the pit, the elderly woman was handed over to ambulance personnel for medical assistance.

Currently, the pensioner is under medical supervision, and responsible officials urge city residents to be cautious.
