As part of the European tour of art masters from the Syr region, a concert by the Kyzylorda Regional Philharmonic took place in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, reports Todayinfo. The rich musical and folklore heritage of the Kazakh people was presented to the audience at the event, organized within the framework of the «Shanyraq Fest Luxembourg» cultural initiative.
The cultural event was organized with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Akim of the region Murat Nalkozhauly, and ERG company. The art tour was planned and funded several months ago at the initiative of Nurlybek Mashbekuly.
The concert was attended by representatives of Luxembourg's state institutions, members of the diplomatic corps, entrepreneurs, cultural workers, as well as Kazakhstani citizens and students residing in the country.
At the event, Roman Vasilenko, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Luxembourg, delivered a welcoming speech, noting that culture and art are important spiritual values that bring peoples closer. He also added that such initiatives strengthen friendly relations between states and contribute to a deeper understanding of each other's history and traditions.
In the concert program, directed by Aziza Izdikulova, an excellent worker in the field of culture, the rich musical heritage of the Syr region was widely promoted, and national folklore, kui art, and the zhyrau tradition were presented to the audience. Through the works performed by the artists, the spirit of the Great Steppe and the cultural identity of the Kazakh people were extensively introduced to foreign audiences.
At the conclusion of the evening, the artists performed the song «Atameken», creating an impressive finale to the Kazakh cultural evening.
