A major fire broke out at a furniture workshop in the Sauran district of the Turkistan region. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire started this morning and engulfed the roof of the building, reports Todayinfo.
Firefighters promptly arrived at the scene. By the time the first units arrived, the roof was heavily burning. The fire was given an elevated rank, and forces from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, local executive bodies, and the Disaster Medicine Center were involved in extinguishing it. A total of over 110 personnel and 22 pieces of equipment were deployed.
The fire has been completely extinguished. The area affected by the fire is approximately 1,300 square meters. There are no casualties. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.
