Turkestan Region: Grand Prix Winner of 'Museum Parade' Competition Receives Car

The results of the regional 'Museum Parade' competition, organized in honor of the professional holiday of culture and art workers, have been summarized in the Turkestan region, reports Todayinfo. The project aims to popularize national cultural heritage, support the museum sector, and promote the region's best professional achievements.

During the solemn event, the best museums in the region were recognized, and industry specialists received well-deserved awards for their contribution to the development of culture and the preservation of historical heritage.

The main prize of the competition in the 'Best Museum' category – the Grand Prix – was won by the 'Rukhaniyat – Abu Nasr al-Farabi' museum. The winner was presented with a car on behalf of Nuralhan Kusherov, the Akim of Turkestan region.

In the 'Best Museum' category, the K. Kazhymukan Regional Sports Museum took first place, the Baidibek District Architectural and Art Museum was awarded second place, and the Kentau City Museum received third place.

Special awards were also presented to museums and employees who made significant contributions to the development of museum work in various areas within the competition. Specifically, the 'Uly Dala Eli' Center was noted for its best work in the history of the Great Steppe, the Regional Museum of Fine Arts for achievements in the field of art, the Ordabasy District Historical and Local Lore Museum for its work in the historical and local lore direction, the Sultanbek Kozhanov Sozak Historical and Local Lore Museum for its contribution to the memorial direction, and the Turkestan Region Cotton Growing History Museum for its cultural and educational activities.

Furthermore, winners in the 'Best Tour Guide' category were determined. The Grand Prix was awarded to Zharylkasyn Akniet Nurzhankyzy, a tour guide from the 'Uly Dala Eli' Center.

It is worth noting that the regional 'Museum Parade' competition is an important project aimed at enhancing the professional level of the museum sector, widely popularizing historical and cultural heritage, and supporting industry specialists.
