"Life consists of stumbling and correcting. In our time, it was different. We had a glass in our hands. That was the time, we drank, we caroused. We did not appreciate the wife given by God, the family. I have such regrets. But I have no regrets about art. I regret that I did not appreciate my wife and child, that we divorced. Fate, we justify ourselves by saying there is no hoof that does not stumble. Now that I am on the right path, in worship, in prayer, I say it is a test from Allah. They say Allah tests His beloved servant much. I am grateful for my fate. I admit everything. This is strength. Admitting your mistake, saying it — that is courage. You can blame the times, your wife, evade. But no, I am guilty. The environment was like that. From concert to concert, from morning to evening, we had a glass in our hands. So I have regret regarding my family," he says.
He also did not hide that he does not communicate with his son.
"Unfortunately, for now there is no connection between us. I understand, I don't take offense, they are right. I pray, if we meet, I want to ask for forgiveness, show respect, make amends. That day is not far off. I have great faith. Any anger subsides. I have a son from my first wife and a daughter from my second. I communicate with my daughter," he says.
