Kazakhstan has launched an AI platform that analyzes geological and hydrodynamic models of deposits, verifies data in real time, and helps optimize extraction processes, reports Todayinfo.
According to Energy Minister Yerlan Akkenzhenov, the system enables more precise production management and increases the oil recovery factor. Currently, industrial implementation covers 12 fields in 7 subsidiaries and affiliates, accounting for about 90% of production in KazMunayGas's portfolio.
“The expected economic effect is up to 326.3 billion tenge from additional production of 2.864 million tons by 2030,” he said during a government meeting.
