On April 27, air quality is expected to deteriorate in three cities of Kazakhstan, reports Todayinfo news agency.
According to Kazhydromet RSE, on April 27, unfavorable meteorological conditions (UMC) are expected in Zhezkazgan, as well as during the day in Karaganda and Temirtau.
Unfavorable meteorological conditions are a set of short-term meteorological factors such as calm weather, weak wind, fog, and inversion. These factors contribute to the accumulation of harmful substances in the surface layer of the atmosphere.
When UMC occur, the quality of atmospheric air in populated areas may worsen. One of the main factors determining the level of pollution is the forecast of synoptic conditions, including wind, precipitation, humidity, and air temperature.
