Almaty-Warsaw: Direct Flight to Europe to be Launched

Almaty continues to strengthen its status as an international tourist and business hub, reports Todayinfo. Starting May 31, 2026, residents and guests of the metropolis will be able to fly directly to the capital of Poland – Warsaw.

The new Almaty – Warsaw route will be launched by the Polish national air carrier LOT Polish Airlines. Flights will be operated four times a week using modern Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. This will make travel between Kazakhstan and Europe as comfortable and convenient as possible.

To mark the opening of the new route, a delegation of Polish tour operators and travel bloggers will arrive in Almaty on June 1. A rich program has been developed for the guests to get acquainted with the city.

As part of the program, they will visit Almaty's main attractions, modern tourist infrastructure, gastronomic spots, and recreation areas in Ile-Alatau. Additionally, representatives of the Polish tourism industry will meet with Almaty tour operators and business community representatives to discuss joint projects and opportunities for cooperation.

Developing international air travel remains one of Almaty's priority areas. The expansion of air routes contributes to an increase in tourist numbers, strengthening international ties, and shaping the city's image as one of the most attractive destinations for travel and business in Central Asia.
