Issues of reducing corruption risks were discussed at the Kyzylorda Regional Police Department, reports Todayinfo.
On May 19 of this year, E. Mendaliyev, head of the Department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs for the Kyzylorda region, held a meeting with the personnel of the Police Department. The meeting focused on the topic of “Compliance with anti-corruption legislation and emerging corruption risks.”
During the discussion, issues of minimizing prerequisites contributing to the emergence of corruption in the activities of law enforcement agencies were considered. The introduction of digital technologies and artificial intelligence tools was also discussed to enhance transparency and reduce corruption risks.

The meeting identified issues related to automating processes, strengthening the transparency and accountability of procedures, and reducing the influence of the human factor during the provision of public services and procedural activities.
Furthermore, Zh. Kozbagarova, chief specialist of the Anti-Corruption Prevention Department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs for the Kyzylorda region, conducted explanatory work. She spoke about the changes introduced to anti-corruption legislation, as well as the responsibility and consequences stipulated by law for corruption offenses.
At the end of the event, proposals for analyzing best practices, discussing digital monitoring tools, and effectively applying innovative technologies were heard, and feedback was established.
