Road repair works have begun on a key section of Abai Avenue in Astana. According to the city akimat, the measures aim to improve road surface quality and enhance traffic safety, reports Todayinfo.
The section is located between Republic Avenue and A. Sembinov Street. As this road is a major transport artery, even partial closure may affect traffic in the coming days.
“Restrictions are in place from April 27 to May 3 of this year. During this period, traffic on the section will be partially closed. Drivers will need to find alternative routes,” the akimat warned.
Drivers and pedestrians are advised to plan their routes in advance to avoid congestion and delays, especially during peak hours. Temporary road signs and indicators will be installed to minimize inconvenience.
